At LWE, we have a shared water system. Three main wells and miles of underground pipes comprise the community-owned water system. Also, your home and its plumbing support the community system. If your home has a leaky toilet flapper, for example, you could contribute to high water usage for one of the wells. This affects the community-at-large.
It was great to see everyone in the neighborhood this weekend. We saw a very high jump in water usage. Some of the jump was expected. But we’re seeing higher than usual usage for this time of year. Please monitor your home for leaky pipes, toilets or faucets and correct them if needed. Thanks for helping to conserve water and maintain the community.
