  • What are the LWEPOA Office Hours?

    • 9 am- 2pm Monday through Friday

  • What do I have to do before building?

    • Before building you have to contact the LWEPOA Office to complete the builders package and pay the required fees. A building permit will then be issued.

  • What does my builder have to do before beginning to build?

    • Before building your builder must obtain the required town and LWEPOA permits

  • I want to put up a deck. What permits do I need?

    • You need a “setback permit” from Greentown. You also need a building permit from Greentown if total deck height is more than 30″. You need a building permit from LWEPOA.

  • I want to put up an addition. What permits do I need?

    • You need a “setback permit” from Greentown. You need a building permit from Greentown. You need a building permit from LWEPOA BEFORE proceeding. At completion and inspection, a certificate of occupancy (CO) will be issued by Greentown. You need to submit a copy of the CO to LWEPOA.

  • I want to put up a shed. What permits do I need?

    • You need a “setback permit” from Greentown. You also need a “building permit” from Greentown if it’s over 1000 sq ft. If it’s over 1000 sq. ft., you need a building permit from LWEPOA BEFORE proceeding. At completion and inspection, if it’s over 1000 sq ft, a certificate of occupancy (CO) will be issued by Greentown. You need to submitt a copy of the CO to LWEPOA.

  • What do I have to do if I am selling my property?

    • If you are selling your property, you may list it on this website. When you have a buyer you must visit the LWEPOA Office, and complete the sellers documentation package.

  • What must I do before I build on an adjacent lot?

    • The improved lot and the adjacent lot must be irrevocably and legally combined through Pike County and the Town of Greentown prior to submitting any non-residential structure or accessory building plans for approval.

  • What is the estimated wait time for a dock slip?

    • The current wait time is three to four years.

  • How can I post my property for sale on this website?
